On June 29th, Boca Ballet Theatre kicked off its summer workshop with 25 talented dancers! During the first three weeks of our workshop, we hosted Artistic Directors Hope Muir of Charlotte Ballet, Adam Sklute of Ballet West, and Kevin Irving of Oregon Ballet. All directors spoke with attendees at a special “Director’s Lunch,” in which they shared words of wisdom about pursuing a career in professional dance. Each director also taught four days’ worth of dance classes! These directors’ unique expertise and insight are sure to be an asset to this year’s dancers as they aspire to professional dance careers!

Live Virtual Performance of La Bayadère!

Alongside their dance classes, attendees of this year’s workshop were hard at work rehearsing excerpts from the ballet La Bayadère. We look forward to concluding our workshop with our first ever live virtual performance, featuring excerpts from this beloved ballet!
