BBT to host Florida chapter of NSAL’s regional ballet competition

On February 22, 2025, Boca Ballet Theatre will host the Florida chapter of the National Society of Arts and Letters’ Regional Ballet Competition! Dancers will have the opportunity to compete for cash prizes as well as the chance to take part in the NSAL’s National Dance Competition.

The mission of NSAL is to assist promising young artists through competitions, financial assistance, master classes, mentoring, and providing career opportunities. An NSAL National Awards Competition in Dance is held every four years with the purpose of identifying and supporting talented young artists in varying dance genres. This year, the competition is focused on ballet and all forms of contemporary dance.

When BBT last hosted this regional competition in 2021, two of our own dancers placed in top spots for the local competition! We are happy to once again serve as host to this exciting competition. Interested dancers between the ages of 16 and 22 can learn more and complete an application in the link below!
