BBT's Nutcracker brings holiday magic to Boca Raton

Waltz of the Flowers

Over Thanksgiving weekend, Boca Ballet Theatre rang in the holiday season with magic, music, and vivacious dancing in four spectacular performances of The Nutcracker! We wish to extend a heartfelt thank you to The Edith and Martin Stein Family Foundation for its generous support of this production, which brought holiday cheer to all in attendance. Read more and see just a few of the weekend’s many highlights below!

This year’s Nutcracker performances featured New York City Ballet’s Emma Von Enck and Anthony Huxley, who returned to Boca Raton to star as the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier. They continue to dazzle our dancers and audience members alike with their unparalleled talent. We wish to thank the underwriters who generously supported our principal’s performances, including Elizabeth H. Dudley, who sponsored Emma Von Enck’s performance, and Eric and Olga Jorgensen, who sponsored in part Anthony Huxley’s performance. Our patrons’ support ensures that BBT can continue to bring the country’s most talented professional dancers to Boca Raton! We were also thrilled to welcome guest artists Samuel Huberty, Nathaniel Otto, Kayke Carvalho, Vince Pelegrin, and Jhostin Jimenez to Boca to star alongside Boca Ballet Theatre’s talented cast of local dancers.

We also wish to extend a thank you to the volunteers who made our annual Gingerbread Ball a special experience for the children at our matinee performances. Attendees got a peek behind the scenes and met the stars of the show! We had record attendance for this event and were thrilled to see so many smiling faces backstage!

Finally, we thank all of those who attended our Nutcracker performances this year! Your warm support means so much to our dancers who danced their hearts out onstage. We can’t wait to perform again for you soon!
