Boca Ballet Theatre Announces Support from Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation
Boca Ballet Theatre is thrilled and humbled to receive support from the Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation. This is the first time we have received support from this foundation, and we believe it validates our mission to enrich our community though outstanding dance instruction, compelling performances, and impactful outreach programs.
The Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation is an avid supporter of the arts in the South Florida community. Founded in 2007, this foundation supports the objectives of Mrs. Cornelia Tarrant Bailey, the widow of Glenn W. Bailey, whose commitment to nurturing communities rich in culture was evident in her support of many exhibits and programs throughout Palm Beach, Martin, and Miami-Dade counties. She believed that keeping the arts alive could only be achieved by igniting that passion in the hearts of our youth. To this end, Cornelia supported many youth programs and various grass-roots organizations that helped to bring art and artists into local public-school classrooms.
Boca Ballet Theatre is grateful to now count itself amongst the many arts organizations supported by the Cornelia T. Bailey Foundation. The funds awarded by this grant will ensure that we will continue to share the value of quality dance with the South Florida community. In a time when the futures of many arts organizations are at risk, we are humbled by the generosity of this foundation!
