With the end of 2020 swiftly approaching and tax codes likely to change in the new year, now is the time to pledge your support to Boca Ballet Theatre! As we approach the one year mark of the global pandemic, it’s clear that the performing arts have suffered tremendously from the closures and cancellations caused by the COVID crisis. Boca Ballet Theatre is no exception.

Though we have worked hard to safely present shows virtually and offer classes at reduced class sizes, the income we have generated through tuition and donations falls short of covering our operating costs. When we opened our landmark 30th anniversary season, we set out to raise funds to cover this season’s programming as well as build a cash reserve and endowment to ensure that BBT can continue to serve the community into the next 30 years. However, well into our 2020-2021 Season of Dance, we have not come close to achieving even the first of these goals. The first goal and must urgent is $300,000 to cover daily operations. In years past, this goal was easily achieved.

If you wish for Boca Ballet Theatre to continue bringing the performing arts to our community, we ask that you GIVE NOW by making a donation or by choosing to become a recurring patron today! In our 30 year history, BBT has established itself as a cornerstone of south Florida’s artistic community, but we need your help if we are going to survive this crisis!

Become a patron of the arts today!

Your support ensures that we can continue to expose future generations to the performing arts and cultivate tomorrow’s leaders through exceptional year-round programming. Amidst all the uncertainty that this pandemic has brought, one thing remains certain: the performing arts are needed now more than ever. Community members are seeking the escape, solace, and transcendence that dance can offer, and we want to ensure that we will be here after the epidemic ends, allowing the community to come together and heal through this moving art form.
