BBT Announces Guest Artistic Directors for Advanced Summer Performance Workshop

 

Boca Ballet Theatre’s Summer Performance Workshops have earned a reputation for being the most thorough and rewarding dance experience a student can have during the summer, with many using it as a launching pad for a professional career in dance. Under the supervision of BBT’s Co-Artistic Directors Dan Guin and Jane Tyree, the program offers top quality teachers and master guest artistic directors from top conservatories and companies around the country! This year’s guest artistic directors will include:

Kevin Irving of Oregon Ballet Theatre (June 28–July 1)
Lourdes Lopez of Miami City Ballet (July 5–July 8)
Adam Sklute of Ballet West (July 12–July 15)
Julie Kent of Washington Ballet (July 19–July 22)

The Advanced Summer Performance Workshops will culminate in a mixed repertory performance, which this year will feature Balanchine’s iconic Serenade. Students will have the opportunity to perform with guest artists from renowned companies like American Ballet Theatre and New York City Ballet. This year’s guest artists will be announced soon!
