BBT Holds Auditions for Summer Performance Workshop
On March 6th, Boca Ballet Theatre was thrilled to hold in-person auditions for our Advanced Summer Performance Workshop, which will feature guest artistic directors Kevin Irving of Oregon Ballet Theatre (June 28 – July 1), Lourdes Lopez of Miami City Ballet (July 5 – July 8), Adam Sklute of Ballet West (July 12 – July 15), and Julie Kent of The Washington Ballet (July 19 – July 22).
Students admitted to the Advanced workshop will have the opportunity to participate in dance enrichment sessions with professional guest artists and artistic directors as well as dance in a full-length concert performance. This year’s performance will feature George Balanchine’s beloved work Serenade! Advanced students will also work closely with and audition for our guest artistic directors in class. Our Intermediate-level workshop provides a robust schedule of dance classes with resident and guest faculty, valuable dance enrichment sessions, and the opportunity to perform alongside professional guest artists!
We are eagerly anticipating our summer program and hope that you’ll be able to join us for one of the most thorough and rewarding dance experiences a student can have during the summer! Miss our in-person audition? There’s still time to send in your remote application! Learn more about how you can audition for BBT’s Summer Performance Workshops below!
Send us a video audition!
Dancers who were unable to attend the in-person audition can still submit a complete application with video, headshot, application fee of $20, and one letter of recommendation from your current dance instructor. Keep in mind, summer workshop space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.
We will accept audition applications until our workshop is full. After April 1, the cost of tuition will increase $100, so try to get your applications in as soon as possible!

Full-face video introduction, including your name and age.
