BBT Nominates Liz Dudley for Woman of Distinction Award
Congratulations to Liz Dudley, Boca Ballet Theatre’s nominee for the Soroptimist International Boca Raton/Deerfield Beach Woman of Distinction award! This award ceremony recognizes women going above and beyond to make an impact on the Boca Raton and Deerfield Beach communities.
Shortly after BBT’s inception in 1992, Liz joined Boca Ballet Theatre’s Volunteer Guild and has spent the past 30 years donating her time, talent, and treasures to support Boca Ballet Theatre! Liz served multiple years as President, Vice President/Membership Chair, and Treasurer for the Volunteer Guild. She Co-Chaired BBT’s marquis annual fundraising luncheon for 2 years, served as event advisor for 5 years, and consistently serves on BBT event committees every year, contributing a wealth of experience and enthusiasm. An exceptional leader, Liz became the Vice President for the BBT Board of Directors in 1994 and has served throughout the years in this pivotal position.

Liz has been an outstanding ambassador, inspiring others to support BBT through performance and event attendance as well as performance and programming financial support. Liz has been the presenting sponsor of many BBT performances, most notably in 2018 and 2019 when her support made it possible to present The Stars of American Ballet to our community. She has stepped up many times since the COVID pandemic struck, providing consistent support to help us to weather that storm.
