BBT to kick off 2023 Summer Performance Workshop
Boca Ballet Theatre will kick off our Advanced Summer Performance Workshop on June 26, 2023! This summer’s program features five amazing guest artistic directors from professional dance companies from across the nation. Learn more about our summer dance program below!
Our Advanced Summer Performance Workshop has earned a reputation for being one of the most thorough and rewarding dance experiences a student can have during the summer, and many use it as a launching pad for a professional career in dance. Under the supervision of BBT’s Co-Artistic Directors Dan Guin and Jane Tyree, the program offers top quality teachers and master guest Artistic Directors from top conservatories and companies around the country.
This year’s guest artistic directors include Michael Pink of Milwaukee Ballet, Peter Boal of Pacific Northwest Ballet, Melissa Barak of L.A. Ballet, Adam Sklute of Ballet West, and Nan Giordano of Giordano Dance Chicago.
Participants in the workshop will take classes in ballet technique, pointe technique, variations, jazz, and modern as well as meet and ask questions of the visiting Artistic Directors during the “Meet the Director” lecture series. Dancers will learn what it is to be a member of a corps de ballet while dancing with some of the finest professional dancers in the world.
