BBT Ushers in the Holidays with Dazzling Performances of The Nutcracker

Pictured here is Nutcracker presenter Edith Stein with Aaron Robison, Amalia Hasselman, Lucas Segovia, and Sasha De Sola.

On Thanksgiving weekend, Boca Ballet Theatre dazzled audiences with live and virtual performances of The Nutcracker, ushering in the holiday season with magic, music, and dance!

This year’s production featured San Francisco Ballet principal dancers Sasha De Sola and Aaron Robison, who inspired dancers and audience members alike with their stunning performances as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Cavalier. Bringing the Nutcracker Prince to life with his dynamic dancing was long-time guest artist and crowd favorite Lucas Segovia. Also featured were special guest artists Elwince Magbitang, Alejandro Valera Outlaw, and Jorge Urbina, who danced as the Russian divertissements, and Nathaniel Otto, who danced as the Spanish divertissement.

Those who weren’t able to attend BBT’s in-person performances joined us online, watching the dancers live from home, some little ones even dancing along! It was exciting to see the next generation so inspired by BBT’s dancers and guest artists.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Edith Stein, our presenting sponsor, and to all who attended our performances! We hope you’ll mark your calendars for our next performance in the spring! Our special mixed-repertory performance Spring Curation will take place Mother’s Day weekend on May 7th and 8th, 2022. Reserve your tickets today here!
