BBT4PD Zooms Into 5th Year of Support From Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation

BBT4PD, or Dance for those living with Parkinson’s, is zooming into fall with free virtual movement classes live on Zoom every Monday and Thursday from 1-2 PM! With the exceptional guidance of instructors Cindy Surman and Dennis Lue, participants enjoy the numerous benefits of the BBT4PD program, including increased mobility, better balance and posture, improved mood, decreased symptoms, and reduced sense of isolation associated with disease. Despite the social distancing, participants are thrilled to stay connected with the community, bringing priceless social and emotional support to each other!

Besides celebrating the continuity of our program online, BBT4PD is also incredibly grateful to receive our 5th year of funding from the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation! Baptist Health South Florida has also generously promoted our program through their Community Connect initiative, geared towards improving community health through educational programs, health screenings, signature events, and access to support groups in the South Florida region.
