Faculty Spotlight: Who is Renee Rich?
In this month’s faculty spotlight, we highlight one of Boca Ballet Theatre’s exceptional instructors: Renee Rich! She shares her passion for dance and performing experience with our dancers in the studio, but who is Renee, and how did she connect with BBT?
Renee has an extensive background as dancer, educator, and producer. She was a principal dancer for the Freddick Bratcher Modern Dance Company, The Ballet Flamenco La Rosa dance company, and the Mia Michael’s Movement Dance Company, receiving rave reviews. Since then, she has been a professor in dance for the New World School of the Arts and Florida International University. For over ten years, she has been a master teacher and adjudicator for the prestigious “YoungArts” Scholarship Foundation and Competition program. She has received numerous awards locally and nationally for excellence, versatility, choreography, and leadership.
Renee specializes in teaching Creative Movement, Pre-Ballet, Primary Ballet, Modern dance, Tap, Jazz , Mommy & Me, and more! She has been a driving force in the South Florida dance community for over 25 years with references including Daniel Lewis Dean of Dance, New World School of the Arts, Janna Kirova, and Kirova Ballet Academy.
