BBT welcomes new members to Board of Directors!

Boca Ballet Theatre is pleased to welcome two new members to our Board of Directors this spring: John Maggio and Blake Morris! Both John and Blake bring a wide array of expertise and experience to our board, and we are honored to have them as part of our governing team.

John Maggio is an aviation lawyer who has represented air carriers, aircraft manufacturers, and insurers in wrongful death, personal injury, and contractual litigation. John has been consistently recognized as a leading aviation lawyer in The Legal 500 U.S., Chambers USA, Who’s Who Legal (WWL): Global Elite – Transport – Aviation Contentious, and Aviation Expert Guides. He is a member of the Florida Bar Association, the American Bar Association (Air & Space Law Litigation Section), Association of Transportation Law Professional (President 2018-2019) and Emory Law Alumni Board (President, 2015-2018). We are excited to welcome him onto our board!

Blake Morris, a local realtor with The Morris Group at Lang Realty, was born and raised in Boca Raton, where he attended Saint Andrew’s School. Blake graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in real estate before joining Lang Realty. Blake also holds a sales associate license and a Broker Associate License. He was previously a board member for the South Palm Beach County Leukemia and Lymphoma Society board, and he helped to raise $56,000 as a candidate for the Man/Woman of the Year event. Blake served on the alumni board of St. Andrew’s School and is a board member of the Leland M Morris Family Foundation. We can wait for Blake to support BBT as a member of our board!
