NSAL to Honor BBT Co-Artistic Directors with Lifetime Achievement Award

Boca Ballet Theatre Co-Artistic Directors Jane Tyree and Dan Guin to be honored with the NSAL Florida East Coast Chapter's Lifetime Achievement Award during the Star Makers Awards celebration on April 25.

This spring, Boca Ballet Theatre’s Co-Artistic Directors Jane Tyree and Dan Guin will be honored by the Florida East Coast Chapter of the National Society of Arts and Letters at the Star Maker Awards, a ceremony that will showcase outstanding performers from key NSAL scholarships and competitions. Jane and Dan will be honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of their outstanding and enduring work in the South Florida performing arts community.

“We’re thrilled,” says Dan Guin of their recognition. “It’s so nice for Jane and I to be selected for this award. It’s extraordinarily rewarding to know that people feel we have made an important contribution to the community, and we are so appreciative of the recognition.”

BBT celebrates its landmark 30th season this year, an accomplishment that would not have been possible without the vision and commitment that Dan and Jane have brought to this exceptional youth ballet company. Dedicated to educating and enriching their community through dance, they have inspired and empowered hundreds of dancers and young people in Boca Raton and beyond. Dan and Jane’s Lifetime Achievement award is well-deserved, and we congratulate them on this amazing achievement!

The NSAL's Star Maker Awards will be held on April 25th at The Wick Theatre & Costume Museum. Learn more at www.nsalfloridaeast.org!
