Set to take place on Saturday, February 8th, at the South County Civic Center, this event is not to be missed! Check out the top reasons you should attend the Best of the Belgians Beer Fest!
General admission: $50
VIP admission: $90
A taste of Belgium
This special event features an amazing collection of Belgian, Trappist, and Belgian-style beers made by both national and local breweries. Some of the breweries featured at this year’s festival include Abbaye des Rocs, St. Bernardus, Rochefort, and Barrel of Monks Brewing. For a full list of this year’s breweries, click here.
Rare brews
In addition to the beers available to general admission guests, VIP ticket holders will have access to two of the rarest and most highly-praised beers in the world: Westvleteren 12 and Cantillon vintage lambic beer. Widely considered to be one of the best beers in the world, Westvleteren 12 is known for its scarcity as well as its taste, making it one of the most desirable brews around. Not only does Westvleteren produce the least of all the Trappist breweries, but its beer is also the hardest to get. Cantillon produces lambic beers and blended lambics called gueuze, which are among the rarest and most revered brews in the world. You won’t want to miss your chance to try these amazing brews!
Tasty eats
What pairs better with Belgian beer than great food? This year, Gastro Geeks food truck will be on site to serve a tasty menu for attendees! VIP guests will also have Belgium-themed food catered by Cheffrey Eats to accompany their brews! You might know Chreffrey Eats as the chefs who serve up some of the best burgers in South Florida at Barrel of Monks Brewing. We can’t wait to sample their Belgian-inspired fare!
Live music
Great beer, tasty food, and live music... What more could you ask for? This year, guests will be treated to live music from No Roots with Alison Tuesday and Robert Goldman. No Roots is an acoustic duo that plays an eclectic mix of popular rock, pop and country tunes from the past 7 decades. This duo features Alison Tuesday, who sings with soulful emotion that comes from the heart, and Robert Goldman, who accompanies Alison on guitar and also sings a few tunes. Robert has performed in Florida with the R'nB/Motown review - the Ladies of Soul; with country bands Whisky Six, Moonshine, and the Samantha Russell Band; with rock bands Radioactive and the Swamp Dogs; and with Shinbone Alley, a swing/jazz standards ensemble.
VIP prizes
As a special thank you, each VIP ticket holder will have the chance to win a drawing for a very special prize: a collection of 4 vintage bottles of Westvleteren 12! Hand-carried back from Belgium and stored carefully, there is one bottle each from 2008, 2010, 2014, and 2018. The estimated value of this special prize is over $300!
