BBT To Welcome Guest Artists for Spring Curation
Boca Ballet Theatre is thrilled to announce the amazing guest artists who will star in Spring Curation on May 7th and 8th, 2022!
We are excited to welcome Jeremy Zapanta to the BBT stage for the first time! He is a soloist from Golden State Ballet. He graduated in 2013 with a BFA in Dance Performance from the University of California–Irvine. Jeremy has danced as a soloist with California Ballet, San Diego Dance Theater, Malashock Dance, and the Traverse City Dance Project in Traverse City, Michigan.
Long-time BBT guest artist Lucas Segovia will also return to Boca Raton for our mixed repertory concert! Lucas has danced for Ballet Argentino, The Washington Ballet, Morphoses/The Wheeldon Company, and The Joffrey Ballet. He has performed works by choreographers like George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, Twyla Tharp, Mark Morris, Christopher Wheeldon, Wayne McGregor, Alexei Ratmansky, William Forstyhe, Val Caniparoli, Yuri Possokhov, and Annabelle Lopez Ochoa, among many others.
Nathaniel Otto, who first joined BBT onstage as a guest artist in our 2021 production of The Nutcracker, will return for our performance this spring as well! He comes from the Huntsville Ballet and has taken classes in schools all around the country, including Pacific Northwest Ballet School, American Ballet Theater, and The Rock School for Dance Education. Nathanial has taken class or performed choreography under the direction of professionals like Keith Cross, Bojan and Stephanie Spassoff, Peter Boal, and more. Finally, we are excited to welcome back veteran guest artist Sam Huberty to the BBT stage!

Put a spring in your step BBT’s mixed repertory concert Spring Curation, presented by Moss Foundation! This performance will feature a delightful blend of classical and contemporary pieces, including “Piano Man,” “Con Amore,” and “Moonlight Concerto.” Performances will take place at the Olympic Heights Performing Arts Theater.
